Some noteworthy ingredients include:

Marula Oil: Marula oil is a non-comedogenic oil that is full of nourishing vitamins and minerals for the skin. It is fast absorbing and contains high levels of anti-oxidants like vitamin C, tocopherol, essential amino acids, and flavonoids. It is healing, moisturizing, ph balanced, and anti-microbial.

Camellia Oil: Camellia oil has been used for years by Japanese women in their beauty regimes. It is a rich source of palmistic and Omega-6 linoleum fatty acids. It is a highly effective emollient that helps skin and hair retain moisture. It also has Omega-9 fatty acids which make it a remarkable transdermal carrier.

Borage Oil: Borage oil is known for it’s healing properties due to it’s high quantities of essential fatty acids. More specifically, GLA , an omega-6 fatty acid. This acid helps reduce inflammation, dilutes sebum, and controls the skin cells’ use of nutrients. Sebum is the sticky oil that clogs pores and thinning it helps prevent whiteheads caused by sebum. It has also been suggested that the astringent tannins found in borage oil may help tighten the skin.

Evening primrose oil- Evening primrose oil has been used in skin care products for years for it’s anti aging qualities. It has a large amount of gamma-linoleic-acid which is known to increase skin moisture, elasticity, and firmness. It also has been shown to decrease skin roughness.

Shea Butter: Shea Butter is a super moisturizing oil that contains essential fatty acids, phytosterols, Vitamin E & D, supervitamin A and allantoin. It is considered a superfood for the skin. It moisturizes, heals, strengthens, protects, and regenerates skin. It is also non-comedogenic so it won't clog your pores.

Directions for use: Scoop out a small amount of balm and spread onto face and neck in circles. Heat up a cotton/muslin towel with warm water and hold over face. Then wipe off balm with hot towel with circular motions while continuing to rinse and wring it out. Wipe until balm is removed and skin feels nourished and moisturized. This can be used as a makeup remover or weekly moisturizing mask. It is compatible with the oil cleansing method. Some prefer to use a toner or light wash afterwards.
