Face Scrub Cleansing Grains with Rose Petals, Coconut Flour, and Marula Oil.

Bara is a special blend of exfoliating herbs, clays, and grains hand batched with extra moisturizing oils and fragrant essential oils. Bara was inspired by traditional Japanese beauty regime ingredients including ground rose petals and rice flour. It is a dark pink color that gets darker as you wet it, but will easily wash off your skin, removing dirt, grime, and impurities while also revealing a smoother, fresher skin underneath. This scrub comes in powder form and can be mixed with water, honey, oil, yogurt, or any other wetting agent. It also doubles as a face mask if left on for a few extra minutes before washing off. It is versatile and can be used on all different skin types. It has microdermabrasive qualities but also has exotic oils like marula and camellia to smooth and moisturize. This can be used in combination with the oil cleansing method and/or any other skin care regime.

This listing is for one 2 oz. glass jar of Bara Grains.

Ingredients include:

Diatomaceous earth: Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) is a powder made from the fossilized remains of diatoms. It has an extremely high silica content and very absorbent. It is a great detoxifier and it’s hardness and silica content make it a very effective micro dermabrasive agent.

Camellia Oil: Camellia oil has been used for years by Japanese women for skin and hair care. It is a rich source of palmistic and Omega-6 linoleum fatty acids. It is a highly effective emollient that helps skin and hair retain moisture. It also has Omega-9 fatty acids which make it a remarkable transdermal carrier.

Marula Oil: Marula oil is the pressed oil from the pit of the fruit of the marula tree. It is a very moisturizing oil with an extremely high oleic acid content which contributes to it’s anti oxidant qualities. Marula oil has been shown to have higher free radical scavanging properties than most oils, making it an excellent choice for aging or damaged skin. It is easily absorbed into the surface of the skin and improves skin hydration while also increasing skin smoothness and reducing redness.

Coconut Flour: Coconut flour is the ground meat of the coconut after the oil has been extracted from it. It is very absorbent without over drying and offers micro exfoliation for the skin. It contains skin loving minerals and anti oxidants.

Rose Powder: Dried rose powder has been used in skin care all over the world for centuries. It is gentle but still has astringent and cleansing properties. It balances the skin with antibacterial properties without stripping it of it’s natural oils. It is popular in masks and scrubs because it is soothing and acts like a toner. It also smells amazing.

In addition to these ingredients, Bara also is made with: brown rice powder, almond meal, bentonite, organic coconut flour, ground rose petals, rose essential oil, and patchouli essential oil.

Directions for use: Shake out small amount of powder into palm. Add drops of water until desired consistency. Rub onto face in circles for 3-5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Apply moisturizer when dry. Please note that these grains can also be used as a face mask by making a paste, applying to face, leaving on for longer, then removing.

******If you have dry skin try using oil or honey instead of water. You can also use milk, yogurt, avocado, banana, and many other goodies you probably have in your kitchen. Experiment and have fun while finding a formula that is best for your skin!!*******
